Matthew Ebmeier
Formulation Scientist & Owner
Matthew Ebmeier is owner and co-founder of ProTopical Solutions LLC, a development and manufacturing company of pharmaceutical, OTC, and cosmetic topical products located in Loveland, Colorado.
Matt has spent the last 25+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, starting as a chemist before transitioning into topical formulation development for most of his career. His experience ranges from bench top formulation work of NDA, ANDA, OTC, and cosmetic products, to manufacturing and scale-up, and executive management.
Matt has been the formulation scientist of 17 FDA approved products, taking them from concept through FDA approval and commercial Launch. As Director he maintained and grew the entire portfolio of 38 approved topical and oral products. Matt also worked closely with the legal team on patenting and patent design around strategies. He continues to work with the pharmaceutical, OTC, and cosmetic industries to provide formulation, CGMP manufacturing, and new product development expertise.

Ellen Jaremka
Process Engineer & Owner
Ellen Jaremka is owner and co-founder of ProTopical Solutions LLC, a small-volume topical OTC and cosmetic contract manufacturing company located in Loveland, Colorado.
Ellen has been instrumental in bringing more than 15 branded and generic drug products to market throughout her career. Her knowledge of topical processing and ability to work with various departments and team members has ensured the success of those product launches.
Ellen has a BS in Chemical Engineering from SUNY Buffalo and has spent over 25 years in the topical manufacturing industry. Her experience runs from process development and validation through management of cross-functional teams. Ellen has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for various companies that represent branded products, generic products, contract manufacturing, and start-up. She brings experience from both sides of the contract manufacturing table, having worked as an engineer for a CDMO as well as the start-up customer of a CDMO.
